REGULAR EXERCISE

There are Soooooooooo many ways to exercise: walking, zumba, weightlifting, palates, astanga yoga, biking, skiing, jogging/running, wind surfing, dancing, ice/roller skating, golfing (preferably w/o a cart), rowing, tennis, swimming…

I list these to stir the imagination. Do any sound appealing?…hopefully so. The idea is that you find one (or two/three) YOU “enjoy”…for Exercise is and can be FUN…and then DO IT REGULARLY!

These days we all know that there are GREAT benefits to regular exercise. To list some obvious ones:

  Controls Weight

  Manages/Combats Disease i.e. Heart, Diabetes, Arthritis, etc.

  Increases Energy

  Assists in the prevention of Osteoporosis

  Improves Sleep

However, I wish to highlight my favorite one. To me it is the most powerful benefit of them all…and that is that it “TRANSMUTES” …not only our physical being but our mental/emotional level of being as well! Since our EMOTIONAL/MENTAL OUTLOOK is so important to our ultimate well being…and exercise is an excellent way to SHIFT our thoughts and emotions, especially when they are beginning to delve into unpleasant territory – it is imperative to get into movement!

So Get MOVING!…NOW!…COME ON……….(even if you feel good…you’ll feel even better)
